Brendan serves as Boston Medical Center’s lead manager for the implementation and execution of the recently completed $440M Clinical Campus Redesign (CCR) projects to merge all inpatient clinical functions to a single unified campus to produce over $25M in annual operational savings to BMC. Started in 2013, the CCR projects were broken into five major phases including infrastructure/enabling projects, Moakley Addition Ambulatory expansion, Yawkey Building Phases 1 and 2 conversion of ambulatory clinics to inpatient facilities, Menino Building Addition and Renovations; the largest single project to expand and renovate the main inpatient facility while maintaining hospital operations at all times. The CCR projects employed multiple prime contractors and contract strategies. Brendan’s responsibilities included simultaneous integration of the divergent project scopes, master budget and schedule management and regulatory approvals.
