As Healthcare Sector Leader and Architect my primary job is to listen. I have led project teams through a wide variety of collaborative design approaches including immersive shadowing, in-situ simulations, design mock-ups, diagraming, and refining design options through a variety of Lean decision making tools. Each one of these approaches allowed us to build a deep understanding between the caregivers, patients, and designers. That focus on communication includes seeking an honest critique of our work and broadly sharing those lessons learned in a spirit of continuous improvement.
My portfolio includes a variety of inpatient and outpatient projects in the Western US & Canada with a specific focus on Hospital renovations, expansions, and technically complex projects.
