Pam Lesser, RNC-AWH, MSNDirector Perinatal Services SSM HealthSt. Mary's Hospital
Pam Lesser is a subject matter expert on the full-range of family care from OB/GYN to NICU and Pediatrics. Having clinically managed these areas for over thirty years, she is a wealth of functional, planning and operational knowledge. Pam was a key member of the design team for the SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital Family Birthplace and NICU projects. During her tenure at St. Mary’s, Pam has worked closely with SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital NICU and understands well how the NICU operational differences at the two hospitals. Pam earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the College of St. Teresa Winona and a Master’s Degree in Childbearing/Childrearing Nursing from the University of Minnesota. Pam has served in the full-spectrum of women’s, neonatal and pediatric care environments. Starting out as a pediatric staff nurse at Loyola University in Maywood, Illinois, then becoming the Director of OB/GYN at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She currently serves as the Director of Labor Delivery, NICU, and Perinatal Support Services for SSM St. Mary’s Hospital – St. Louis, where she has worked for the past 11 years.
