2020 Healthcare Facilities Symposium & Expo Update
Dear HFSE Community;
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the 33rd annual Healthcare Facilities Symposium & Expo scheduled for September 22-24, 2020 in Long Beach, CA will not take place. This is the first time in 33 years the Healthcare Facilities Symposium & Expo community will not gather in the fall and this is a decision we have not taken lightly. The 4th annual National Organization for Arts in Health conference scheduled to take place alongside HFSE is being reimagined as a virtual event. For more details on NOAH’s future plans please visit thenoah.net.
We know that this will come as an enormous disappointment but please be assured the decision was made in the best interest of the health and safety of our HFSE and NOAH community and their families. After feedback from our advisory board, industry stakeholders and conversations with local officials in Long Beach, we believe that restrictions on people gathering in large groups, company-imposed travel bans, and other uncertainties will make it impossible to deliver the world-class event we are known for in 2020.
We are reaching out directly to exhibitors, sponsors, speakers and attendees this morning with further details. These are enormously challenging times for everyone’s personal and business lives but let us stay strong, caring and united.
Keep your families safe and continue the amazing work of serving our healthcare front line workers.
