How is HFSE addressing safety and health concerns for the September event?
As HFSE prepares for the 2021 Healthcare Facilities Symposium & Expo in September, we are actively monitoring updates related to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are in contact with the proper authorities and organizations to ensure that we maintain an educated perspective when making event-related decisions.
At a minimum, HFSE will follow Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines to develop a comprehensive on-site preparedness plan to address the safety and well-being of all participants. We will provide details of the on-site preparedness plan to all attendees, speakers and exhibitors in the coming months.
What is the venue for the 2021 HFSE and how it is responding to COVID-19?
The Austin Convention Center (ACC) will host HFSE 2021. ACC is in close contact with Austin Public Health (APH) who is monitoring the situation in coordination with Texas Department of State Health Services, the Center for Disease Control (CDC), local and regional public health and healthcare agencies.
