Architect/Sr. Project Manager, Intermountain Healthcare
Brenda Roberts is a licensed architect who has worked exclusively in healthcare design for the past 12 years, with the past decade working in Intermountain Healthcare’s Facility Planning and Development department. She provides architectural expertise and tools for new construction as well as remodels, and acts as a healthcare design expert that aides in the program development of various types of facilities, including hospitals, clinics, ambulatory centers and administrative structures. She works closely with hospital administrators, hospital facility engineers, operations directors and other Intermountain Healthcare personnel, as well as interfaces with outside architects, engineers, programmers, vendors, building officials, etc. In addition to managing multi-million dollar healthcare projects, she spearheaded the Intermountain Design Guidelines and Construction Standards project, resulting in two comprehensive documents that were created to provide a guide for project leaders, architects, and engineers to describe Intermountain Corporate Policies for the planning and development of all Intermountain Healthcare construction projects.
