Lisa Gallagher, MA, MT-BC has a Bachelors in Music Therapy and a Masters of the Arts in Counseling and Human Development. Lisa founded the music therapy program at Cleveland Clinic, and she is the Research Program Manager for the Arts & Medicine Institute. She is a clinical music therapist, researcher, and author; and she is a frequent presenter at the local, national, and international level. She has published her research in Supportive Care in Cancer, Journal of Palliative Medicine, American Journal of Hospice & Palliative Medicine, and Music Therapy Perspectives. Lisa is a former Chair of the Certification Board for Music Therapists Board of Directors, a Past President of the Great Lakes Region of the American Music Therapist Association. She is the recipient of the Association of Ohio Music Therapists Past Presidentís Club Award, the GLR of AMTA Scholarly Activity Award, and the Blair L. Sadler International Healing Arts Award.
