Senior Interior Designer, Shepley Bullfinch
Anne Garrity is a senior interior designer at Shepley Bulfinch, with 30 years of experience in design, focusing on healthcare design. Anne brings a unique understanding of how people interact with their environments and recognizes the importance of creating healthcare interiors that establish an institutional brand. She informs her interior design and planning work with academic training in both clinical psychology and design. She was named one of “Twenty Making a Difference in Healthcare Design” by Healthcare Design magazine in 2007. Anne leads the direction and development of healthcare interiors, spanning the planning and design of patient environments from small specialty clinics to large-scale academic medical centers. She is responsible for the composition of materials, finishes, lighting, and the integration of art and architecture, with a focus on improving the experiences of hospitalized children and adults.
