Angel C. Duncan, MA-MFT, ATR has an extensive background in counseling psychology, art therapy and Alzheimer's research. In the San Francisco Bay Area, her training came from Stanford. She worked at the University of California-San Francisco, and was the Programs Director for the Alzheimer’s Association. In the northeast coastal region, Angel worked in program development in dementia care. Currently, she is the Director of Education/Clinician in clinical research trials at the Neuropsychiatric Research Center of Southwest Florida. Angel is a consultant for GE Healthcare and works with leading organizations in brain health initiatives throughout the country. She is an adjunct professor in New Haven, CT and a widely-published author, contributing blogger for the Huffington Post, and has been interviewed and featured in diverse media. Angel is an Ambassador and Journal Peer Reviewer for the American Art Therapy Association (AATA) and sits on the AATA Research and Marketing-Communications Committees.
