Susan Duchman has been with Susquehanna Health for over 30 years in varied roles. Susan’s education includes nursing diploma, BSN and MBA, with a focus on professional development and operations. Presently she is the Vice President of Operations/CNO for The Williamsport Regional Medical Center and has previously had held the position of Vice President/ Campus Administrator as well as Administrative Director for the Heart and Vascular Institute and Emergency Services. Active within the nursing profession, Susan has lead the transition to shared-decision making within the nursing departments of Susquehanna Health, implemented a council structure that supports nursing empowerment and supported the adoption of quality initiatives to further enhance patient care. Active in the Pennsylvania Organization of Nurse Leaders, Susan has held the office of President of the North Central region from 2004 through 2008. With the development of Project 2012, Susan’s role has been to support design of the patient tower to include patient, family, and staff input while being cost efficient. Ms. Duchman has been with Susquehanna Health for 30 years. She lead the shift to shared decision making within the nursing department, implemented council structure supporting nursing empowerment and supported quality initiatives to enhance patient care.
