Director of Healthcare for HKS Detroit regional office, Steve has two decades of experience exclusively dedicated to healthcare architecture. Steve has built an experienced team of programmers, medical planners, and campus master planners. Conceptual visioning through design development, Steve interfaces with interior/exterior design efforts and is recognized by clients for strategic thinking, team leadership, problem solving and planning knowledge. His background includes inpatient units, inpatient surgery, inpatient imaging, cardiology, birthing centers, women’s centers, emergency centers, cancer centers, ambulatory centers, and medical office buildings. Steve is a registered architect, with a Masters of Architecture and Bachelor of Science in Architecture from University of Michigan and graduate work at Danish Royal Academy.
