Part of HKS�fs national healthcare interior architecture leadership team and the Detroit regional office, Carol is Vice President and Director of Interior Architecture for HKS. A registered architect and interior designer, Carol has 27 years of experience with a masters and bachelors of science in architecture from the University of Michigan. A collaborative catalyst with clients and a talented team of design professionals, Carol�fs focus is healing design that enriches human experience for 3.8 million sf of US and international projects. Carol seeks to maintain the project vision with design vocabulary expressing client goals/brand image; conveys a unique sense of place; respects community context; and keeps promises at each encounter. She is committed to creating holistic environments that connect to nature, integrate intuitive wayfinding, are sustainable and evidence informed. Carol is interior design director for Boone Hospital Center�fs 128�]bed tower expansion project.
