Tim Marcum is the Director of Planning for Baptist Hospital East (519 licensed beds) and Baptist Hospital Northeast (120 licensed beds) in Louisville, Kentucky. He has a Master’s Degree in Health Administration from Duke University and a B.A. in English from Centre College of Kentucky. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Public Affairs with a minor in Strategy from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at IU Bloomington. His last position was as the Director of Marketing & Planning for Hendricks Regional Health, a 160-bed county-owned hospital in Danville, IN. Before that, he was the first strategic planner for Bloomington Hospital & Healthcare System in Bloomington, IN. He has over 23 years of experience in the healthcare industry, working in hospital administration, assisted living development, healthcare consulting, physician practice administration, and strategic planning. His hobbies are computer hardware and applications, reading science fiction, Putt-Putt Golf, and family-oriented activities with his wife and two children.
