Katarina Vuckovich, RN, BSN, BA/HFM, is a consultant for Clinical Informatics Strategist for Emerging Technologies, has over 20 years of experience as a liaison building relationships while bridging the clinicians and Information Technology. In 2011, she was nominated by her peers and received the prestigious National Daisy Award for Extraordinary Nurses. In her strategy sessions, Katarina routinely includes clinicians, Information Technology, facility managers, architects and designers for renovations and new construction globally of Hospitals, Patient Care Units, Emergency Departments, Surgical Suites, Ancillary Departments, Outpatient Services, Specialty Clinics and Medical Office Buildings. Katarina has coordinated and conducted over 1000 current state/future state work flow and device strategy assessments globally for emerging technologies meeting goals for patient safety and best practices. Katarina received the John E. Simon Nursing Scholarship and completed her Nursing and Health Facilities Management education at Maryville University, St. Louis, MO. Her clinical experience includes Orthopedic Specialists/Clinical Assistant, Surgical Services/OR Charge, ED Staff/Patient Educator, Clinical Coordinator SICU, and Maryville University Infirmary Director.
