Stuart is responsible for the planning, design and construction of major capital projects for UCSF Health. Much of his career has been focused on developing and implementing processes for private and public healthcare systems to create integrated project delivery cultures or project communities focused on patient-first solutions. Most recently he lead the $1.5B UCSF Mission Bay Hospitals Project which received the 2017 Vista Award for “exceptional team performance and excellence in the healthcare design and construction environment”. Stuart currently leads the $275 M Precision Cancer Medicine Building project at UCSF Mission Bay-creating a team of designers and builders working to the higher mission of “curing” cancer. Stuart is a founder and current President of the Center for Innovation in the Design and Construction Industry (CIDCI). Stuart is a licensed Architect in California.
