Bert HurlbutVice PresidentStanford Health Care Hospital

Bert is currently a Vice President for the Stanford Health Care Hospital responsible for the construction of the New Stanford Hospital.  NSH is a 368 bed facility which is scheduled to be complete in 2017.

Bert has over 35 years of healthcare construction experience.  The positions include cost estimating in a design firm’s office, engineering and management in construction and serving as an owner’s representative.

Bert recently came from large construction company where he held positions including Project Executive on various healthcare projects over a 27 year career.  Bert was instrumental on the construction of the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Westwood and the UCLA Santa Monica Orthopedic Hospital.

Bert has a BS in Industrial Engineering from Cornell University.  Bert currently sits on the OSHPD Hospital Building Safety Board in Sacramento.
