Ms. Kern is the Associate Director of LifeStructures Metrics for BSA LifeStructures. Her responsibilities include directing evidence-based design research projects and developing LifeStructures Metrics. She is a registered architect with 19 years experience working in the healthcare design field. Prior to joining BSA LifeStructures, Ms. Kern focused on healthcare planning and spent two years as an architectural consultant on a multi-disciplinary research and development group for a major medical equipment manufacturer. Her diverse background includes programming, facility planning and design for numerous hospitals, clinics, and medical office buildings. Ms. Kern has Bachelors of Architecture and Bachelors of Science degrees from Ball State University.
