Ann McGauran
Sr. Operations Engineer, Vanderbilt University Medical Center
Ann McGauran is an Architect with 20 years of operations/facilities management experience primarily with large multi-facility academic institutions. She is regarded as a key member by senior executives in overall project leadership, contract negotiation and budget management. Ann achieves client centered results by balancing stakeholder needs with organizational priorities.
Ann currently works at Vanderbilt University Medical Center as a Sr. Operations Engineer in the Performance Improvement Office. After 10 years as a Senior Project Manager in the Office of Space and Facilities Planning , Ann was interested in expanding the scope of ‘redesign’ to include all aspects of clinical operations. She is interested in integrating the many new IT tools with staff training and space management to achieve the best possible healthcare experience for patients and job satisfaction with measurable outcomes for faculty and staff.
Ann will complete her Masters of Management in Healthcare from Vanderbilt’s Owen School of Business in August 2009.
