Alan W Mack ASID

Specializing in healthcare interiors for the past 22 years Mr. Mack’s client list reads like a Who’s Who of Healthcare. Having done work for many of the most prestigious Medical Centers in the country he is currently working for such clients as Rush University Medical Center, Advocate Healthcare, Rush Oak Park, and The Alexian Brothers Health System in Chicago. His philosophy of design centers on incorporating the needs of the institution’s patient population with the needs of the physicians, nursing staff and facility department. “We are currently incorporating ideas and services associated with the hospitality market into our design vocabulary in order to bring a higher level of comfort into the total hospital experience.”
As one who believes in giving back to the profession and the community he has served on ASID chapter boards in New Orleans, Iowa and Illinois, and was associated with the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (formerly known as FIDER) for over 20 years serving on all of it’s committees and serving two terms as Board Chair. He is currently an Emeritus member. He has served on the Interior Design Program Advisory Committee at Iowa State University and has served as Board President for the Visiting Nurse Association of Johnson County in Iowa.
